A difficult repair job to strengthen a previously cracked neck of a 1960's Archtop Hofner guitar from Germany.A portion of the fignerboard is carefully removed so that brass screws can be inserted through the neck where the break has occured.
The fingerboard is then reassembled with meticulous attention to detail, and the final result is an invisible repair.
K. Yairi acoustic guitar has been badly scrathed over years of playing in one of New Zealand's leading recording studios. The lacquer is carefully removed, the wood rubbed down smooth and new lacquer reapplied and buffed. The end result is a beautiful and shiney guitar, beautifully restored to new condition.
